The Collaboration Diner

At UC Expo 2012, Collaboration Matters are running a series of live debates at our ‘Collaboration Diner’ stand on the exhibition floor. Featuring some of the liveliest minds in the Social Business space, these discussions will drill down into some of the issues initially raised by the Cluetrain Manifesto book in the nineties, that have been raised again by the advent of Social Business this decade.
The Collaboration Diner will also feature a real diner serving coffee and donuts, served by actors portraying the characters in the famous Edward Hopper ‘Nighthawks’ painting of the 1940s, and re-imagined in the modern take commissioned by Wired Magazine in 2003. Why a diner? Well there is no doubt that we are rarely alone in these days of social networks and mobile devices. Where once we were alone in a strange city, now we have our family, friends and business relationships wherever we are.
Here are a selection of the tweets from the event:
Collaboration Matters also run a regular Social Business thought-leadership event in the City of London called the Social Business Briefing (also known as Wicked Wednesdays!).
