Practice
Some consultancies are lead by sales people (and the numbers they need to hit), others by their technologists (with their latest versions and clever technical solutions)…
Collaboration Matters is different by design. We believe in demonstrating vision and thought-leadership through everything we do. Social Business is still at a relatively early stage of maturity, hence the marketplace needs to be lead and educated by those that are truly living that life and style. From our formation in early 2008, Collaboration Matters has worked to demonstrate our principles of doing business in a 100% Social manner.
An example of Social Community is our passion for sharing almost all our presentations on SlideShare. We believe that if we are willing to share our knowledge and expertise to a limited audience in person, at an event or on a webinar, then that same information and content should be shared with a wider audience – that way everyone benefits…
One such presentation is this ‘Why Social?’ deck delivered by Stuart McIntyre at a number of webinars and events over the past year:
Another example is our ‘Social Business Breakfast‘ briefings we hold in the City of London. Also known as ‘Wicked Wednesdays’, these monthly invite-only events are designed to enable knowledge-sharing and live collaboration between key individuals from organisations interested in Social Business and thought-leaders in the space – both from Collaboration Matters and a range of the consultancies and partners that we work with.
Lastly, we have ‘The Collaboration Garden‘, an online community where we collaborate and lead ongoing discussions around Collaboration and Social Business topics.
